Transparencies

Transparecies are weavings that are designed to have light come through them. They use open areas and light as a part of their design. They are woven on linen with the filled in areas of wool, cotton. or linen. The transpariecies must be hung where light can come through but not in direct sunlight. They will fade. Ideal locations are doors into porches, north windows, interior windows, or stairwells.
