Spirit Rugs
Spirit rugs are done Navaho style with a continuous warp, When the rug is completed and removed from the loom the warp threads are not cut. Instead the rug is entire which leaves the spirit of the weaving in the rug. Instead of cutting the rug from the loom which would leave some spirit in the warp remaining on the loom. The ones I make are woven with homegrown, hand spun, home dyed wool. This enhances the spiritual quality of the rugs.
Navaho Twill Saddle Blankets
These saddle blankets are woven in a commercial wool warp and weft using the Navaho twill threading. They are to be used for riding.  Their beauty is enhanced by use. The threading was created by the Navaho to be versatile and long lasting.
